Accomplishments

July 2024 to December 2024

  • Launched Phase 1, which included developing a project timeline and stakeholder engagement process for effective implementation as well as an initial analysis of tools that incorporate social login functionality into the Identity and Access Management system. 
     

January 2025 to June 2025

  • We've created and shared clear guidelines for integrating Social Login (allowing users to sign in with accounts like Google or Apple) into Ohio State’s systems, helping make access simpler and more intuitive. 
  • Product requirements for the tools needed to support this login experience have been finalized and shared with key stakeholders across the university. 
  • A formal Statement of Work has been completed, and we’re now partnering with Ohio State Purchasing to begin the vendor selection process through a Request for Quote (RFQ).
