Microsoft created Club Copilot in 2024 specifically for the education community to connect and learn more about Copilot products. Use cases and examples are tailored to educators and many university instructors and staff participate.

It focuses entirely on Copilot for Microsoft 365, but you can join even if you do not have to have a full license for Microsoft Copilot. The community will now be meeting on both the second and fourth Tuesday of each month to focus specifically on Copilot in education and how it can increase productivity, build bandwidth, and transform teaching and learning.

As part of the education community, you are eligible to:

  • Become part of the Club Copilot team in Microsoft Teams
  • Receive a monthly email sharing the Copilot focus for the month
  • Receive a calendar invitations for the monthly calls

 

Each session of Club Copilot will follow feature a sample month, discussion that focuses on a few M365 Copilot features to enable you to use it more effectively and a question-and-answer session.

Copilot Product Versions

Club Copilot focuses on Copilot for Microsoft 365, but users of Microsoft Copilot Chat are also welcome to join.

  • Microsoft Copilot Chat is the version of Copilot that Ohio State provides to all its users. Log in to ensure you are using your OSU license, which adds extra protection for your data.
  • Full License Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 (M365 Copilot) is an extended version of the Copilot tool that is available for an additional cost. Licenses can be purchased by departments on an annual basis by following the instructions posted in the Administrative Resource Center (ARC)

 

Club Copilot is for non-technical users. Microsoft encourages more technical users to attend MS National Office Hours on Thursdays at 4 p.m.
