  • Cash Sale Report Decommission

    During the week of August 18, a new report named "Find Cash Sale Details - OSU" was released. This new report returns one line per cash sale line and includes pertinent details regarding customer, status, line description and amounts, tax information, transaction-related date fields and worktag details. The required security group necessary to execute this report is Company Financial Analyst. This report replaces the existing "Cash Sales for Organization" report which is scheduled to be retired on Friday, September 5.
  • New Reports: Accounts Receivable Aging

    Two new reports are now available in Workday for departments utilizing Workday Accounts Receivable. These reports are designed to help you monitor aging invoices by Customer, filtered by individual Department or Earnings Operation. Because Accounts Receivable activity appears on the Balance Sheet, Balancing Worktags are necessary to generate accurate reports. If your area doesn’t have enough detail in its Balancing Units, consider speaking with your Senior Fiscal Officer about creating additional Balancing Units to improve reporting precision.   • Reminder, Important Business Travel Updates

    As a reminder for those returning for autumn semester, the Office of Business and Finance in coordination with the University Travel Office is pleased to announce our extended partnership with Anthony Travel. Effective July 1, 2025, Anthony Travel replaced Corporate Travel Planners (CTP) as the Travel Management Company for individual business travel.
  • Mid-August Reporting Updates

    Several new reporting updates described in the full post are expected to be active mid-August. A new prompt and output field have been added to "Purchase Order Remaining Balances," "Find Purchase Order Details - OSU," and "Find Purchase Order Summary - OSU." Coming the week of August 18, a new report called "Find Cash Sale Details - OSU" will be released. Lastly, coming the week of August 11, a new field will be added to the output of the report "Business Processes Awaiting Action - Expense Report Detail."
  • FY26 Unit Monthly Reconciliation Checklist Updates

    The Controller's Office has updated the unit monthly reconciliation checklist for FY26. The main updates include transitioning the existing checklist into Microsoft Excel format for easier use, with job aid links and resources linked to each step. In addition, a step was added to help facilitate purchase order review and closure.
  • Buckeye Buy Updates as of July 28

    The following are two of the latest Buckeye Buy updates. 1. A custom order line has been added to the Special Order Gases Cylinder Warehouse Catalog in Buckeye Buy. Requestors can search by "special order gas," under the Search Catalog link, to enter a requisition for the special order gas as quoted by a Linde account manager. AK Painting and Martin Painting & Coating Company have new catalogs in Buckeye Buy for interior, exterior and garage floor painting services at contracted hourly and square footage rates.
