Effective July 1, 2025, Anthony Travel replaced Corporate Travel Planners (CTP) as the Travel Management Company for individual business travel.
  • Name Pronunciation Now Available in Workday

    We’re excited to announce a new feature in Workday that makes it easier than ever to help colleagues pronounce your name correctly—and for you to do the same for them! All employees, including student employees, can now add name pronunciation information in Workday. This includes audio recordings of your name and phonetic spelling to guide pronunciation.   • Ohio Sales Tax Holiday Effective August 1 - 14

    The Ohio Department of Taxation has announced there will be an Ohio Sales Tax Holiday in effect from 12 a.m. Friday, August 1 until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025. During the holiday, the exemption will apply to all sales of goods that are $500 or less except for certain watercraft, motor vehicles, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vapor products, or items containing marijuana.   • Workday Survey Results Point to More Faculty Engagement, Navigation and Change Communication Interest

    In November 2024, Ohio State business sponsors collaborated with Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) to design and launch a Workday survey. The survey’s purpose was to collect faculty and staff opinions and perceptions about Workday and the available resources that support it. The survey’s end goal was to obtain results that can be used to improve Workday change management processes and communications.
  • UniPrint Added as Workday Supplier Site

    UniPrint has been added as an option under “Connect to Supplier Website” in Buckeye Buy. This exciting change will allow customers to start and finish their online printing standard orders directly in Workday without having to jump between two different websites to purchase products.   • Subaward Issues with Roll-forward Encumbrances

    As a part of fiscal year-end activities, subaward supplier contract encumbrances will be closed out for FY25 and re-opened in FY26. An encumbrance will not roll-forward into FY26 if a subaward supplier contract has an "Amendment in Process" status. This issue was confirmed in testing. As a result, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is providing the guidance shared in the full post for subaward supplier contract amendments.
